  • $3,000,000.00 awarded by plaintiff who was severely injured at his workplace. The client, a laborer in construction, sustained his injuries when he fell from unsafe scaffolding. Surgery and therapy was necessary for the client to begin a long recovery for his spine, ligaments, muscles, and nerves.

  • $2,750,000.00 awarded by a Nassau County jury to a Garden City Police Officer who was injured in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a domestic disturbance call. His injuries required spinal surgery. The insurance company offered zero and claimed the police officer caused his own motor vehicle to crash. Warner v. Adelphi University, 240 A.D.2d 730, 660 N.Y.S.2d 50 (N.Y. App. Div. 1997)

  • $1,500,000.00 recovered from the City of New York to a truck driver who was in a motor vehicle accident, struck a support column on highway underneath train tracks in Rockaway Freeway. Rockaway Freeway was an antiquated roadway with two- phase traffic signals (green and red only). Mr. Ferri argued that the antiquated traffic signal caused a car and the oil truck to enter the intersection at the same time. After removing the trapped truck driver from the truck, the EMT/FDNY was found negligent in failing to transport the truck driver to a trauma center.

  • $1,200,000.00 awarded by a Queen’s County jury to a laborer whose unattended, unsecured ladder slid out from under him, while he was drilling a hole in a wall.

  • $1,200,000.00 awarded by a Queen’s County to a driver whose motor vehicle was struck in the rear. The driver suffered a single herniated disc, that was conservatively treated and did not require surgery.

  • $1,075,000.00 recovered by a civil engineer who was injured at a jobsite from a fall from a ladder inside a waste treatment plant owned by the City of Geneva.

  • $1,000,000.00 recovered by a police lieutenant whose automobile was struck from behind by a tractor trailer while driving on the Throgs Neck Bridge. His injuries required a cervical discectomy, and resulted in early retirement from the police force.

  • $1,000,000.00 received in settlement by plaintiff who was injured by a tow truck in New York City. The defendants failed to operate the tow truck responsibly and struck the plaintiff while both parties were driving. Plaintiff suffered serious issues to his neck and back resulting in a cervical fusion.

  • $950,000.00 recovered by plaintiff whose car was struck in the rear while stopped at a stop sign. The injuries to his lower back eventually required a four-level lumbar laminectomy.

  • $940,000.00 recovered by a schoolgirl, who was struck by a van while crossing York Ave. at East 74th street. The schoolgirl suffered orbital roof fracture.

  • $800,000.00 recovered by the plaintiff in a medical malpractice case from a doctor for failing to timely diagnose her lung cancer. The doctor failed to follow-up on suspicious findings in a lung x-ray, and CT scans.

  • $697,358.11 awarded by a Nassau County jury jury to plaintiff after she suffered nerve damage to her entire right thigh and leg after a negligent intramuscular injection of Demerol by a nurse which resulted in meralgia paresthetica.

  • $750,000.00 recovered by the plaintiff in a medical malpractice case who suffered a perforated bladder and lacerated urinary sphincter during transurethral resection of prostate,

  • $475,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who suffered a wrist fracture when struck by a defendant at an intersection with a malfunctioninf traffic light. Both drivers are claiming they had the green light.

  • $450,647.00 verdict in federal district court. Employer terminated an "at will" executive who had deferred compensation contract. The employee claimed that the "at will" employee was fired "for cause" and refused to pay his deferred compensation. In awarding the "at will" employee his full deferred compensation, the trial court, citing Mr. Ferri's cross-examination of the CEO, found the employees "for cause" termination was made in bad faith.

  • $450,000.00 recovered by a worker injured on a jobsite. The worker, a carpenter tripped and fell on stray piping left in a passageway used by the trades at the jobsite.

  • $400,000.00 recovered for a family in a wrongful death action. A grandfather, walked his granddaughter to school. While returning home he was struck by a van while crossing Hempstead Turnpike and died at the hospital shortly thereafter.

  • $310,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who was a pedestrian who suffered a rotator cuff tear and disc bulges as a result of the accident.

  • $300,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who tripped and fell in front of a bank in Brooklyn due to a raised sidewalk slab.

  • $300,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who fell down a defective staircase. Plaintiff suffered a herniated disc in his back and a left shoulder tear. Both injuries eventually required surgery.

  • $290,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who tripped and fell at a broken curb. Plaintiff suffered a broken ankle which required surgery.

  • $285,000.00 recovered by plaintiff who was stuck by a car, while standing on the side of Route 106 in Muttontown. Plaintiff suffered multiple foot fractures and a knee fracture.

  • $250,000.00 was awarded by a Brooklyn jury to a worker who was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was struck in the rear. She suffered herniated discs.

  • $250,000.00 recovered from the City when plaintiff who, while riding his motorcycle, suffered left radial shaft fracture requiring ORIF when he hit a pothole on the Bruckner Expressway.

  • $250,000.00 recovered by plaintiff, a truck driver, injured in a motor vehicle crash on the NYS Thruway in Tuxedo, NY. The truck driver was forced off the road and over an embankment. He suffered a scapula fracture, four fractures of the transverse process and multiple rib fractures.
